Description
The Heavy & Gyps board is a coupled sheet measuring 1.200 x 2.000 mm, made with plasterboard and a conglomerate composed of a polymeric membrane filled with SBS polymer (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) with a thickness of 2.5 mm. This composition guarantees a significant improvement in the soundproofing power, increasing the mass of the entire construction system. The Heavy & Gyps board is usually used in counter walls, partitions and plasterboard false ceilings where the primary objective is the acoustic insulation of the room. An advantage of this panels is the reduced thickness which allows better maneuverability and faster installation. The Heavy & Gyps board is installed like a normal plasterboard panel by using self-tapping screws or expansion anchors. Finishing is done as for any plasterboard system.
